Here are the kexts you will need. Foxic Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 You don't need a USB mouse, just do it through terminal: sudo cp Path/To/Kext.kext /System/Library/Extensions/ Run Kext Utility Or, if you don't have it/similar chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/ Reboot with -f Then run Kext Utility The latest VoodooPS2 installer is working well for me on a few systems, maybe give it a try once you actually have a mouse. dynmosaic Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 It appears to work, however, after much trial and error, this actually is the cause of shutdown and reboot failure on my system, which is a desktop HP8120n (Asus P5BW-LA Basswood3G, NVidia 9600 GS512, 6GB). After I removed it, the system can reboot and shutdown cleanly. Too bad, hope someone can come up with a better solution.
