buoo
Hi guys! I got a problem with my MoBo GA-P55-UD3L. I bougth an usb hub, 'cause in my case there aren't connectors on the front panel, but when when I try to put the pc in sleep I get an immediate wake-up. Before this, the sleep worked perfectly applying the patch for usb in the dsdt without using sleepenabler or other stuff. Is there something I can do to put it in sleep? Any advices? LatinMcG
make sure u enable usb wake support in bios so it doesnt power down the hub. or maybe edit the usb thats offending .. removing the_PRW or _PWS (not sure which.. forgot approach to this issue)
Gringo Vermelho
Another solution, if your motherboard has more ports available, is something like this:
buoo
I solved the problem exactly starting from this idea. To make it short I replaced the little internal card with two usb extension cables, hot glue and a little bit of fantasy. Great job!
