does your LAN represent itself as built-in on networkinterfaces.plist?

did you tried Efi sting for your LAN instead of ethernetbuilti=y?

Yes, I checked networkinterfaces.plist

<key>IOBuiltin</key>

<true/>

BTW, my App store is working, but Facetime and iCloud fails.

I tried to use EFI string following this: http://www.insanelym...howtopic=114349

my video card 8800 gt stopped working, icloud still fails.

Any ideas?

The IONetworkingFamily.kext I am using to enable booting (without it lion won't boot) is version 620100

is that a problem?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

<key>BuildVersion</key>

<string>192</string>

<key>CFBundleShortVersionString</key>

<string>1.9</string>

<key>CFBundleVersion</key>

<string>1.9</string>

<key>ProjectName</key>

<string>IONetworkingFamily</string>

<key>SourceVersion</key>

<string>620100</string>

</dict>

</plist>

And in System Profiler, this looks troublesome:

ethernet:

Type: Ethernet Controller

Bus: PCI

Vendor ID: 0x10ec

Device ID: 0x8168

Subsystem Vendor ID: 0x1462

Subsystem ID: 0x360c

Revision ID: 0x0001

Link Width: x1

BSD name: en0

Kext name: RealtekR1000.kext

Location: /Extra/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/RealtekR1000.kext

Version: 2.0.0d1

There is no builtin here as the real Mac would, and the RealtekR1000.kext is not the same as well.

Any ideas?
