Gringo Vermelho
Depending on what you want to do with Windows, it might be more practical for you to run it in a virtual machine under OS X. I highly recommend Parallels Desktop. I run Windows XP Pro SP3 in Parallels on my Hack, it's lightning fast and it even plays games if that's your thing. Unlike most other virtual machines, Parallels actually puts your GPU to good use. With a second monitor connected it's like using two computers with the same keyboard and mouse. PookyMacMan
I have Win7 on GPT with BIOS, so it is possible...but whenever I get the GUID prompt I just repartition my disk. Try this: in Mac OS, create a FAT32 partition (listed as "MS/DOS (FAT)")and name it something. Boot to the Win7 installer, select your FAT32 partition, choose Drive Options, and click Reformat. Usually that tricks the Win7 installer. Once installed, there are no problems with Windows. For dual-boot, download EasyBCD. Install it, open it, click new entry in the sidebar, select the tab Mac, name it whatever you want, and choose MBR from the pop-up menu below!! With EFI it doesn't work, even with GPT! Click Apply (or whatever the button is at the bottom ), and you should be good to go! Hope this helps. Z3R0-X
Just format the partition as FAT32 under OSX before u restart to windows installation (as PookyMacMan suggested). I've got stuck with this yesterday until I had the thought to try it. And it worked like a charm! Im just stuck with Parallels now, windows crashes and shows BSOD after starting it in parallels as a Bootcamp partition!!! I do need to use that physical partition as a VM under Parallels...
