hpMACosxSL
I recently installed iAtkos S3 (10.6.3) on my compaq laptop (I do own a MacBook Pro, just refuse to run Windows anymore). I was shocked it worked with my AMD chip. I managed to find the kext for the HD4200 video card, but am having issues with the RS880 Audio Driver. Any ideas? My audio works, but when its done booting, the mic turns on right before the desk top loads and the apple splash screen goes bye, and I have to go in and use the VoodooHDA control panel in system properties to disable the input device. If I go into regular audio in system properties, the computer crashes when I select the input tab. Any ideas? I've read some blogs that say the video and audio are tied in to each other on this laptop, but am not sure. I got the wifi and other devices working, even the keyboard and mouse pad using an older ktext file, but not the smoothest operation. Any ideas... thanks! Anyone know another forum out there that might be able to help?
