Aiden Attenborough
Hey everyone, I really wasn't sure where to post this, so I posted it here. Just recently I installed Lion on vmware, and everything works well except for video and sound. When I play songs with QuickTime or iTunes, the sound is pretty bad quality and it's a bit jumpy.. and also when I try to play video, it's all pixelated. Also, when I try to play YouTube videos, the video box is clear and I can see my desktop through it. It's like the video isn't there, but I can still hear it. I've tried changing how much vram my VM can have, and still no difference. Right now it's set at about 256mb of vram, but I can go higher if needed. (I have a ATI HD 6850 OC, which has 1gb of vram). Does anyone know how to fix this? System Specs: J&W H55M-L Motherboard intel Core i3 550 cpu ATI HD 6850 OC 1GB 1TB Hitachi HDD 8GB DDR3 1333 RAM (I gave the VM 5GB of RAM)
xx66stangxx
Did you install the proper kexts for your audio and video?
