Lianys
Hello guys, when I try to run Mac OS X 10.6 on VMware Workstation I get error Mac OS X is not supported with software virtualization. To run Mac OS X you need a host on which VMware Workstation supports hardware virtualization. I really don't know what might be wrong. Some info about my SW & HW: Win7x86-64 Workstation v7.1.2 (b301548) (I also tried v8.0.0 (b471780) of course in v8 the error message was little bit different but more or less same) DualCore AMD Athlon 4850e 2500 MHz (12.5 x 200) which supports AMD-V virtualization (AMD says it on their website and I've checked it by their tool - passed) Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H v1 and yes, V support is enabled (I tried turn it off and then turn it on again)... Still VMware shows error Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/269424-vmware-virtualization-capability-error/ Share on other sites
