cyberdrive
Hiya Community! Once more i do need your great support! Hopefully you can help me out of this: I recently bought a HP Pavilion DV7 6101eg with i5 and Intel HD3000 graphics (2nd graphics card is AMD 6770M). As i have already installed iAtkos on my Desktop i do know already some basics about OS X. I tried installing OS X with HAZARD´s 10.6.1-10.6.2 DVD and the following boot options got me to panic 0x001A8FFD: -v busratio=17 cpus=1 ^^ this is only the 2nd page of text, first page scrolled by way too fast for my mobile cam - try to catch that later with my DSLR Could you pls give me any advice so i get 1 step further? What do you guess, what´s wrong or missing? Do you recommend any other Distro? I do guess BIOS-Settings could be the problem - but unfortunately there aren´t much options to change in this BIOS like AHCI... Thanks very much in advance! cyberdrive
Tried iDeneb and Kalyway - no help at all. Kernel panics at same stage when booting - CallerID´s are different to each Distribution. Does somebody know how to enable AHCI on that Bios pls? cyberdrive
I do think that AHCI is always ON at this BIOS. As of my CPU (i5 2410M, 2,3GHz) i calculated the busratio of 17. Is that correct? Tried several boot parameters: Hazard: -v busratio=17 leads to: Local APIC Error -v busratio=17 cpus=1 panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001A8FFD): Kernel trap at 0x7cf57385... see screen in post 1 as of my 2 graphic cards inserted (INTEL HD3000 and ATI 6770M) i tried: -v busratio=17 GraphicsEnabler=No leads to: Local APIC Error -v busratio=17 cpus=1 graphicsenabler=No see panic message in post 1 Somebody got an idea where to dig in next? Help would be greatly appreciated! Cyber
