dupsco
Ok, so I am new here and couldn't find anything directly relating to this so here goes. I have a HP ProBook 4515s Laptop and want OSX 10.6 on it... How do I do this... Processor is AMD Turion x2 RM-76 I have tried ModCD with panic's, ##### with nothing onscreen but a backslash (laptop hung)... Please forgive me if this has been posted before, direction is all I need... dups Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/268185-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
dupsco
Ok, so just a little update... After much searching I managed to get a little further... I think my new problem may have something to do with chipset? I boot with modcd and load the osx from an 8GB usb pen I had prepared earlier. The modcd picks up the pen as 'Mac OS X Install DVD', I select it and it starts. Then it stops and says 'Still Waiting for Root Drive' and that's it... I just can't seem to get by this part. Any advice? Laptop is AMD RS780MN/RX781 Chipset Thanks dups Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/268185-snow-leopard/#findComment-1749996 Share on other sites
