combo9
I successfully installed OS X leopard on my PC recently using the ##### CD and a 8GB USB with the Mac OS X image on (using TransMac). Afterwards I wiped the USB drive and used it to transfer other files across. Then I accidentally killed the OS by messing with some files that affected the system's ability to boot, so decided to start over by formatting the HD. Today I tried to repeat the process by formatting the 8GB USB with the same Mac OS X install disk image I used before, but ##### no longer sees it when I boot up. I even tried on another laptop and again the USB has for some reason become invisible to #####. Any suggestions? Thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/267745-iboot-no-longer-recognizes-my-usb/ Share on other sites
sirbow2
well you ruled out it being the computer, so try with a new ##### cd, then if that deosnt work then put it into another mac or PC and see if it is detected. if it is detected then redo the image to the usb with another mac. if its not detected then your usb is bad.
