rjz
Yesterday I got a panic when I was at the part that said please regsieter. What could this be? I also get please reboot in regular mode. I am going to try different things but, I thiught this part might be something different. The dvd part of the install went fine. What part of the panic should I record for problems. It seemss to just be messud up numbers and letters. Ni file names. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/2672-panic-problem/ Share on other sites

The text to the right of the register dump is most useful to me but I'm sure that others can make use of the rest. Stern
Did it appear before the registration dialog? If it was afterwards, use the ctrl+w keys to close the dialog box. Good luck with your problem. And post the panic message, it will help with diagnosing the problem. ghw9132
use the ctrl+w keys to close the dialog box. I agree, except for the quick key. Unless you remap the modifier keys after installing, the windows key is the default for command (apple).
