"Small" supported Card for Lion

Hi,

i just updated my old Conroe1333 D667 with builtin GMA950 to Lion and everything is working nice, but i notice more and more that this card seems to have problems with some of those fancy effects and several games (And i dont play hardware intesive stuff )

Anyway now i plan to add a Cheap new Card to my Setup, i would love to choose one thats works ootb or atleast no kext hacking or whatever, want to keep this system as clean as possible.

 

But this is not my only problem, next to the PCIe 16x slot is a PCIe 1x slot that holds a adapter with a official MAC Wlan card. I really depend on this card in my setup or atleast dont want to replace it if it is not really avoidable.

I notice that most modern cards have huge fans and often take up more than one Slot (spacewise), this is not possible in mc PC ( i have stuffed everything in and old G4 Tower).

 

So i "need" a small card that wont take up much space.

Can anyone recommend a card that could fit in my setup? i dont need to play the latest games on it i just want it to work without much problems and dont slow down at normal desktop effects. Some basic 3D games maybe to, but i dont plan on playing crysis 2 or anything.

EDIT: VGA is needed and HDMI would be nice but not necesarry
