Updating iATKOS S3 V2 (10.6.3) in VMWare

I successfully installed SL iATKOS S3 V2 (10.6.3) in VMWare. I tried updating using the combo upgrade 10.6.5 and 10.6.7 but both times even though they updated successfully and rebooted successfully my mouse and keyboard where disabled.

 

Does any one know how to update iATKOS S3 V2 (10.6.3) in VMWare without your keyboard and mouse being disabled after you reboot.

 

Does any one know how to boot in safe mode in VMWare.

 

Any solutions would be appreciated.
