Hello people,

First of all desculplas ask for my English because I'm Brazilian.

I've read several discussions on these boards and take part, and I want this topic to our information and gather strength to make these cards can function for us.

The new possibilities as they arise, will be placed on the first topic.

Problem

Realtek does not have the drive to these id cards for 8172 and 8192 for RTL8191 RTL8192 second threads on the forum.

Remember that drivers on the site are for USB adapters, so do not work for PCI in this case.

Possible solution

In an attempt to make it work, I tried to edit some kexts and in my opinion that the board RTL8187SE kext because it's PCI, your issue may be the solution.

I tried to edit and put the id of my card is 8172 and not getting kext does not load successfully.

I believe that more change is needed, perhaps in binary code, I honestly do not know.

Recently, I edited the kext out of curiosity the Ralink RT2860 pci which is also, and curiously in sitema kext loaded, but the application does not detect the card.

Conclusion

So my issues is attached hereto for RTL8191, test, and post any news on this topic.

Remember that for a real test, install the kext and then edited.

I still hope we can get a working kext ..

Lucky for us! biggrin.gif
