KSwoosh
Yesterday I was using OSX Snow Leopard (installed from the iAtkos S3 V2 dvd), and I've used it a few times before (I'm actually waiting for a new WiFi card to start using OSX more), without problems, but yesterday something weird happened: I had my laptop and computer on, and had my laptop booted in OSX, I was about to install the VoodooBattery kext, but didn't get around to do it, so my laptop just stood there. When I looked at it some minutes later, it suddenly had a black screen... And now, it won't boot anymore... :S When I boot in verbose mode, the only line that is displayed is this: Loaded HFS+ file: [system/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion/plist] 479 bytes from 435aec0. after that, nothing else happens. Booting in single user mode doesnt work either... (I actually have no clue what single user mode does, but i thought it was worth a try.) Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this? And how I can fix it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265406-snow-leopard-not-booting-after-black-screen/ Share on other sites
