Hi guys, i tryied with this dsdt and seems work almost everything @64bit ..BUT

1/ awake from sleep don't work

2/ Alc 889 dont' work

i have in E/E:

1/ Fakesmc

2/ IOAHCIBlockStorageInjection (can i delete using this dsdt?)

3/ NullCPUPowerManagement (can i delete using this dsdt?)

4/ALC8xxHDA

Now i have on this motherboard a "Captiva 8400gs 256mb" and it work perfectly( before i had a Gainward 8400gs 256 mb and...i was almost crazy ). Anyway i used ##### and ##### whit this dsdt!

Someone can halp me about alc889? It's strange, before using a custom dsdt on #####...simply with ##### alc 889 worked ( but not microphone), now , even if i followed instructions, it dont work!

HELP! Thanks!

in your case

use it in HDEF

0x79, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00

remove NullCPUPowerManagement

add in boot.plist

<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>

some news! The awake from sleep now work but only across power button of my mid tower case (not from alluminium apple keyboard or usb mouse as on my ep45-ds4). After hdef injection i tryied to put all two layout.xml 889 in applehda...but i had a kernelpanic( i'm on 10.6.8) , so i put back the original applehda 10.6.8. What I'm doing wrong about alc 889?

Sorry for reviving such an old thread but I have the same board and experience wake up problems. I use the DSDT Mald0n posted in this thread but my machine fails to wake up from sleep :/ Any hints?

bios version. or lan driver ?

Bios version F2 and lnx2mac's RTL81xxx driver that came bundled with ######, not sure which version that is. Trying the newest 0.90 beta now and will report back!

Btw what is the preferred way to enable audio with this DSDT?

Incredible, thanks for the lan driver tip, that did the trick. My machine is waking up now, though there is one last issue: I have one display connected via DVI and one via HDMI. The DVI display wakes up while the HDMI one is staying dark. In System preferences etc I can see that the Display still is connected, windows are on it and I can move my mouse over the workspace but the display is dead. Is this a known problem for ATI 5770 cards?

Personnaly i used a patched applehda file that requires a modified dsdt file. The audio sound great so far, but well i`m only using the headphone port.. With an external dolby headphone processor.. ;P

Attached the modified dsdt file for g41mt-d3v. I attached the current applehda here, but you can find the latest here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/26439-alc889-applehda-kext-10-7-x-lion.html

Sleep doesn`t work for me though...
