Machinecity
trying hard to keep up, i feel i'm close but i stuck at something... the hardware: Asus P5LD2 Deluxe PentiumD 3.0GHz (3.6GHz OCed) 4GB RAM nVIDIA 9800GTX+ 512MB MacOSX 10.6.6i Hazard (updated to 10.6.7) 1. i followed this guide: [GUIDE] Installing Lion DP4 + GM Without USB(Video), Tested on Asus P6T SE with Intel i7 920 2. downloaded legacy kernel 10.7.4 and replaced the mach_kernel http://www.kexts.com/view/1206-mach_kernel...el__10.7.4.html 3. DSDT.aml 10.6.6i Hazard installation didn't have the DSDT.aml file in extra folder so i installed iAtkos 10.5.7 for DSDT.aml then i copied the file to flashdisk it seems it works... 4. i boot the system with the flashdisk i prepared, the system reboots itself. these are the last lines... (it isn't in good quality unfortunately, i recorded it first because it didn't stay enough time on the screen to see clearly, then i grabbed this shot from playback) I NEED IDEAS OR GUIDES. THANX IN ADVANCE FOR SUPPORTING MY EFFORTS...

Aju Deeju
Try Nawcom's Legacy Kernel for 10.6.8 pkg and install this onto the Lion installation USB
Machinecity
Now for Lion, there is the new ssse3 problem that needed another emulator (?) So a Pentium D 820 won't run Lion? even with CPU strings checks patched? I think I would get this error on Pentium D in Lion From Xnu bug reporter: Second bug: "commpage no match" is related to Pentium D not having SSSE3 but having 64bit capability, thus the proper bcopy routine cannot be found during commpage stuffing. found this on the forum maybe i need a yet to be released kernel. trying hard for something cannot be achieved right now...
