Help with ATI mobility 6450

Hi all,

 

I have a Toshiba R840 laptop with cpu core i5 2410 and graphics card ATI Radeon mobility 6450 1024MB. I installed Snow Leopard retail, then combo uptate 10.6.7, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and bridgehelper. Almost everything works, except the resolution of my video that is stuck at 1024x768 and not able to open jpg and png images in preview.

 

I think I have tried everything possible to have 1366x768 resolution and full QE/QI. Do you have any suggestion for modifying the screen resolution of my laptop?

Hi guys,

 

It seems that the reason of not able to have QE/CI is because my graphics card is connected to the internal LCD through the Displayport. I attach my BIOS dump processed with radeon_bios_decode.

 

Also, it seems that Snow Leopard is not loading any framebuffer. When I execute ioreg -l | grep ATY I get nothing.

 

Any comment and help would be appreciated.
