Shirosaki
Hello, Since a short time I got glitches in Chameleon bootloader, it just in Chameleon bootloader, but before I hadn't had these glitches. Would someone know what this means? I know my Dell Studio 1558 with Ati Radeon HD 4570 has cooling issues, however I solved those by creating more airflow. My notebook warranty is already over, so if it could be that this is sign off my notebook life ending? Then I should consider to sell it, because its still working good, also OSX runs good on it, so there isn't a problem further, but I'm concerned about the glitches. 3.14r2
I can only guess that it is a VGA related issue (either hardware or software related). Check how an external monitor works. Shirosaki
Yes that's what I guessed to, I hope its just a software issue though, because I wouldnt like it when my notebook would die, its just 1 year and 3 months old, but past Dell warranty. Gringo Vermelho
It's possible that your selected boot VESA mode is not completely supported by your laptops video card. Try setting a different boot resolution mode and/or bitdepth in your /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist.
