Hello folks! As some things are being fixed, we'll keep you updated. Per hour the Forum Rules don't have a dedicated "Tab", so here is the place that we have our Rules back. New Users Lounge > [READ] - InsanelyMac Forum Rules - The InsanelyMac Staff Team.

App to monitor new Mp3 files, sort by month.

I have an issue, I am a DJ and like to collect my music and organize it into several different folders, for organization. I also like to have the past month's music available to me at a glance as well. It seemed to me that the way to do this would be to create a smart folder and sort by type: music, created by date: after and before the first and last days of said month.

This works for some files, but not all.

I have read that the created by date is reflective of when the file was created on a filesystem, but not necessarily when it was created on a specific computer.

What I am looking for is an app that would monitor all newly saved files, and then be able to sort them by date and type. It would be really great if it had finder integration but not a deal breaker.

Does anyone know of such an app?
