youngstacks74 Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 I Recently reinstalled mac on my hackintosh because of an faulty drive but ever since the reinstall my fans have been getting louder and then will calm down after a while..... for example when i open a program it will get loud and then lowers.. but even when it lowers it is still too loud.. when i watch a video online it does the same thing.... before reinstall it used to be real real quiet... and i dont remember what i installed to keep it running at the right speeds.. My Setup Is Asus Gene II Rampage(CG5290 VERSION) 9 Gigs Of Ram Nvidia GTX 260... I Believe 1TB Hard Drive SL 10.6.7 Everything else works perfectly... Sleep, Restart, Shutdown, Etc..... Everything except sound...... But I Have An External Audio Interface For Sound....... Any Help Would Be Appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
