Thorongil
Hi, folks, used the guide from the wiki to write deadmoos image to a partition, seems good so far, after grey bootup screen, it says "you need to reboot"... But after reboot, it says that again When I boot up using -x it simply reboots HW: Acer TM 4001 WLMI Centrino (SSE2 only..) Any ideas?

eightballx
The please reboot sign usually means a kernel panic... try booting with -s as a boot option then typing sh /etc/rc and see what errors you get then post them back here and we can diagnose your problem better! -=eightballx=-

eightballx
I definatly think this is a graphix card prob... Try a different one or try removing that card and using intergrated graphix if you have one on your box! -=eightballx=-

The file you need to edit is listed here. Use vim or nano to edit the file.
