hi all,

i need this information... may i install on my notebook Vaio VPCF11Z1e Snow Leopard (i've the original cd).

Many thanks!!

you don't have to ask permission to install leopard. but maybe you do have to ask apple if it's ok. (just kidding!)

anyway, follow this link and download the windows version to check if most of your hardware is compatible...

Thnaks... only a last question... if i wait i've probabily that something change? and my vaio will be compatible at 100%?

and finally... my vaio will work better with mac os?

thanks!

hmmm.... found this and it looks like you already tried installing osx... you probably should have asked how to solve installation problems... geez...

Yes i tried but i didn't find noone tha could gelo me.. So i thouhgt to return to windows. Few days ago a friend of mine told to me that here i could find a good help, so i would try all from zero.. starting ask here if it is possible or only time wasted.

Tnx

I guess some, if not most, people here in this forum are fed up with questions like "is it possible to install snow leopard on my laptop?". What you should probably do, instead of wasting time asking questions like that, is actually try installing it. And if you do encounter a problem, describe the problem in detail or post a picture or video of when the problem occurs. And if you find doing all these rather tiresome, then installing osx is not for you. If that will be the case, everything I have said would have been for naught. Sigh...my time wasted.

i'm sorry to wast your time... i would only know if my laptop will go better...

so.. when i try to install i do it with a ##### and then original dvd.

After installation i'd installed ##### but i see my monitor all black.

going back to your query, it might take awhile (or not) for someone to come up with a solution to your graphics card/lcd screen problem. over at the "ubuntu/linux world", they had a similar problem with nvidia cards. but they did find a solution for it though.

so, just keep checking this forum and/or other forums... you'll never know if you don't.
