3dd13
Hi, my name is 3dd13. I am a proud owner of a Toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 that I repaired myself (busted monitor). I reciently obtained a Kalyway OSX 10.5.2 setup disk, and have been proud to finally have a mac, even if the wireless doesnt work. After I tried for hours to install it, I finally found out I could only run in single core mode (Pentium Dual-Core) so I installed without any issue, and it works rather well. The only problem is I need to update to 10.5.8. I tried iDeneb 10.5.7 combo update, and now I am hanging at the famous white Apple logo boot screen. Nothing works (safe mode, etc) so, now I have 3 questions: 1. Can I fix this at all so I dont loose data? 2. Even if I have to reinstall, how do I update, and where are the files located? 3. If I get a copy of Snow Leapord, will I be able to run in a dual core mode?
