Thanks mate.

Do you know if this will work with Lion DP1 or DP2?

All the best.

NSCXP2005

Thanks for Andy Vandijck, iReset(Fabio), ^Andy^, MacMan, bcc9 and all others.

It works fine with Lion and Snow, just replace the file of c:\wowpc.iso with one of the attachments only.

Where to locate the files........under the Mac OS X partition.

Q1:

If you get errors as below, just replace the file of c:\Avlgo.sys. Base on the partition number of the windows installed, you can use one of attached files "(hd0,0)-(hd0,3)" to replace the file c:\Avlgo.sys.

(hd0,0)=partition 1 (default)

(hd0,1)=partition 2

(hd0,2)=partition 3

(hd0,3)=partition 4

Booting 'Avlgo Default'

isoemu (hd0,0)/WOWPC.ISO

If you get errors as below, just try to setup first boot device to be CD/DVD-ROM from BIOS, or install Mac to primary partition.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi guyz, is becoming impossible for me to get to another mac to run the installer as in

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t205790.html

also i have the video card issue (nvidia quadro 580fx), wich should be solved with

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/lofiversi...hp/t219776.html

and if i had access to a mac that would be perfect..wiich i can't..

so do you think that i could just install the v2 rc5 and change/add the files that permit my card to work and do the SL install?

i have to say that i have no experience at all with macs...

bud i need to switch platform...and i had just put together a new pc...life's things somebody say

I second what I already expressed here:

useless, at the very least mediocre - can't even select the partition to install to :D ! Needless to say, if one handles multi-booting professionally and responsibly, one has a dedicated boot partition - in my case FAT32 with Grub4DOS, others use Grub, Grub2, Lilo, SysLinux etc. All my OS installations (Snow, Win, Ubuntu etc.) are on dedicated volumes OTHER than the boot partition, as supposed to. So needless to say with ANY boot-loader I need to be able to select that partition to install to. ANY other boot-loader installer in ANY OS offers that - just this Chinese Installer can't .....

This ain't version 3.0, but 0.3 .. ;)

Insert, possibly multiple times, Hide Partition=hd(x,y) in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

I have a problem...

Since I installed this, Chameleon boots on my Windows partition by default even if I change the parameters in the boot.plist under OSX.

Previously, my computer started on Lion by default. Now, I always have to be there at startup in order to force it manually...

AND I can't uninstall the windows chameleon... I always get an error message.

Can anyone help?

Due to the way bootsectors and boot loaders work, Chameleon can't be uninstalled, it can only be replaced.

You can use the Windows 7 startup repair to rebuild the standard Windows boot sector/boot loader. This procedure is widely documented, use google to find a step by step guide.

It's not exactly clear what your issue is or what your configuration is.

If your PC starts up from the wrong drive then change the boot order in your BIOS or change the order the drives are plugged in.

Things that will help others to help you:

zip and attach your org.chameleon.Boot.plist

post a screenshot (or text in a codebox) of the output from diskutil list (in Terminal).
