Cannot boot from install dvd

Please help I am getting ioctl(_IOR,'d',79,4) is unsupported error whatever install flag I use.I have tried with almost all possible combinations of -v -x PCIRootUID=1 -pci1 GraphicsEnabler=no maxmem=4096 cpus=1 busratio=11 . still stuck

shows few more messages and here it gets stuck:

This may just be a shot in the dark but make sure you can read DL CDs. If you cant read DLs, then I recommend the USB install method.
