Can you guys tell me which mobo/processor/wifi card choose so it can be the closest from an iMac, work flawlessly without any problems on each update and be upgradable when Lion comes out? Thanks in advance. Intel based Gigabyte motherboards seem to be close to the Intel moboards used in Mac's. I built mine from "scratch" after a long process of discovering what works and what doesn't. MY current Hack is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 with 12 GB ram and an Intel i7/920 CPU. I found Kakewalk the easiest way to install MacOS X onto a homebuilt PC.
