I installed 10.6.7 last night and now when the computer restarted I started getting this error:

EBIOS Read Error: Error 0x01

Block - 1909282864 Sectors 64

Any idea on what might have happened, or what I can do to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am completely stumped.

My system is as follows:

* Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 Yorkfield 3.0GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80569Q9650

* EVGA 512-P3-N871-AR GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

* Patriot Extreme Performance 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PDC24G6400ELK

* TRENDnet TEG-PCITXR 10/ 100/ 1000/ 2000Mbps PCI Copper Gigabit Network Adapter 1 x RJ45

* Pioneer Black 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 40X CD-R 32X CD-RW 2MB Cache SATA CD/DVD Burner LabelFlash Support - OEM

* GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

* Western Digital Caviar Green WD15EADS 1.5TB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

I should state too, the computer was built well over a year ago and has ran completely fine up until now. I had updated OS X numerous times with no problems.

Could have been the security updates, as opposed to 10.6.7?
