So I have been looking around 10.7 install guides, and most go #####, XPC and such.

Since many of us can actually do an install from a real Mac: how to just get it booted as Hack?

Hi,

the only way to get the Lion work is by using an usb-stick, if you have an hackintosh. After installation of Lion, you need XPC loader (google) and ##### 1.4 or 1.2, both works an my pc.

Format the stick as mbr (not GUI!).

In xpc there is a *.pkg-file. Run it/install on the stick. Remove the stick, wait some seconds, put it in again. If you were right, the stick will appear on screen as "EFI xx". If not, there is something wrong with the stick, check the format (mbr !!).

Copy all files of ##### to the stick. You do not need the dsdt.aml, EFI can create it.

Check the BIOS. Can you boot from stick ? Attention: it is absolutly nessecceray, to disable the paralle port in BIOS ! Okay, start booting from stick.

If you are right, you will see only one little charakter like this: "-". That's all. Wait a minute. Background will change. Perhaps, the resolution of the screen is bad, you can change it now by typing "u". With "m" you can change the bootarguments (-v -s). With "g" you generate the dsdt.aml, and with "b" you can change the startup-drive.

When all is okay, you can start from your lion-hd. Background changes, you see a lot white-black text. Once ist stops. Read the last 3 sentences, you must type in the text /xxx/ -xxx, if have forgotten it. !! You nee to do this only at the first start, in further time you only type "exit". If there where mistaktes, ignore it. When you are ready, type "exit", an lion starts.

Repair permissions by terminal: sudo diskutil repairpermissions /

At this time only owner of an real mac can start from hd. :-(

Sorry for my bad english, i am from germany, and im am 35 years out of school.

Much luck and a nice day to all,

Andreas (Andrew)
