wmarsh
It looks like a method bcc9 developed patching ConnectorInfo table in ATIFramebuffer.kext to enable audio support on HDMI has been adapted to add LVDS support and enable QE/CI on Mobility Radeon Cards. This is not the new MacBookPros -- this is your existing laptop. For details see: bcc9's thread about method: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=249642 mucha's thread about LVDS: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=252061 Mobility Radeon (formerly HD 4xxx) thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=245308 Good News for you 5xxx and 6xxx people: Crazybirdy figured an alternate way to get the dmesg you need to figure out encoder/decoder -- necessary as 1st method using dong's RadeonHD not supported. (and its easier for everyone else too) http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...00#entry1657630 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/252301-mobility-radeon-support/ Share on other sites
