I have decided to work on this as people have their 5xxx series mobilities to work now. My personal machine is as follows: Intel Core i7 720-QM 8GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz 500GB HDD IDT audio Radeon 5470 1GB dell 1520 wifi Realtek 8168D LAN Works - In Progress - Does not work Right now it does work and I will momentarily do a clean install to attempt the perfection of the graphics. the wifis currently do not work and will be handled currently by a ralink usb stick. To get the sound working, follow instructions in the 1557 thread and the same goes for the LAN. I will be reporting back later with the progress on the graphics and will post instructions when/if it will work. other users have had success with mobility 5000 series and one user, fayens, has his 5470 working fine, albeit with errors in transparancy on menubar. i will try to fix that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
