(Macintosh HDD /extra) and what do I do next? Can you make a short guide from Start to Finish, what I should do? // Dong

sensemilla
First download chameleon rc5 748 pkg from http://www.kexts.com/view/960-chameleon-2.0-rc5-r748_%5Bpkg_installer%5D.html Install it but do not reboot. The next thing you should do is downloading 10.6.6 combo update at apple.com If you don`t sure that it will break your installation then do only copy the ATI**** kexts that are not included in the package that you have downloaded before on kexts.com to /System/Library/Extensions. Copy the ATI kexts from kexts.com to the same location. Repair Permissions. and update kextcache. Then add following key to your com.apple.Boot.plist located in /Extra <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>UseAtiROM</key> <string>Yes</string> I have also added <key>AtiFb</key> <string>Park</string> I don`t know if it has any effect. Also copy the Rom that you have extracted to /Extra or use mine. It must be named like mine. I think then you will be fine and it works, but only on external display ports. So i hope it will work for you, please let me know.

dingdong2011
Here are some screenshots from my Mac OS X 10.6.6 Maybe it can help on my graphics card problem? I can see on your picture, your computer name is Mac Pro. My computer name is only Mac. What OS system disc did you use? I have used iAtkoss S3
sensemilla
Ok, thank you for the screen shots now i think i have seen what`s the problem. You are using os x in vmware not in a real installation. So i don`t know much about virtual graphic injection. But what i can say is that the graphic would be only shared by the host. So if it`s possible to get graphic accelaration then there must be a special kext for vmware svga II or anything else. The next is i think i have used Hazards install DVD but normally i use the original Retail CD.
