glamisfanatic
I have a dell D610, I just installed JaS 10.4.8 on it, when I was first doing all the account stuff before you boot up for the first time after install, i selected "i do not use this computer for the internet" I am not sure if this is the cause of my problem or what. I have had previous versions of osx86 on this laptop and have had the wireless working. When i click about this mac, and select more info, under the network tab if i click on AirPort Card, it says "no information found." I have downloaded and installed iwi2200 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=3275 which worked on my previous installs (those had the airport utility though). I searched around and found a post that told me to delete the appleairport2.kext i believe, i did that and still nothing changed. When i go to system prefs and click network i just get a screen that says Location: Automatic Show: Network Status and nothing happens. Can someone help me get my wifi working? I am liking this install of osx86, its very smooth, this seems to be my only issue..
