sandni99a
I installed VoodooHDA recently and wanted to try something else so I removed the kext(it was causing intermittent kernel panics...or so I thought anyway) from extra/extensions folder and removed the applehda kext and ran pfix. The next time I rebooted I got a kernel panic again. So I rebooted but this time I got to the desktop and the sound was still working. . THere is no voodoohda kext in the extensions folder...there is one in some backup/extensions folder. Is the kext being loaded from there some how? I've also noticed that everytime I run pfix, the next reboot causes kernel panics..voodoohda related. But one more reboot and I'm in...with everything intact. What is happening? Dellmantt
Could be in the etensions.mkext. Have you rebuilt it?
