tdtran1025
Reminiscent of the Pentium III launch years ago. Big, Big debacle! Now that NVidia has branched into low-power CPU+GPU mobile devices and Intel is still on the outside looking in. AMD may have their act more together in this endeavor. vasir15
Last news from Asus http://event.asus.com/2011/SandyBridge/notice/ First learn to know the difference between a PCH and a CPU, SandyBridge is not broken and Cougarpoint is functional but Intel has decided to actually tell all that they might have issues, unlike Apple who loves to shaft the broken HW to its beloved customers ( remember NvidiaGate?). The issue is that overtime the Gen 2 SATA ports will degrade, usually Si designs work for around 7 years give and take a few years, in this case it could be only a few years. This issue is/was a setback but that will be fixed and you shall get your beloved overpriced MBP. Or wait for AMD to "hopefully bring something to the market ... I mean since 2009 .. no pun intended" ... where is (BLZ?) I have a 2600 CPU and also the so called broken CPT ... but ... hey hi HELLO ... I am using it now running on OSX so I guess it works? Reminiscent of the Pentium III launch years ago.Big, Big debacle! Now that NVidia has branched into low-power CPU+GPU mobile devices and Intel is still on the outside looking in. AMD may have their act more together in this endeavor. You mean also AMD's big BIG debacle with TLB a BUG? http://www.dailytech.com/Understanding++AM...article9915.htm Now designs are so complicated that sometimes I wonder how they get these things working .... AMD has what things together? You mean Bull(***)dozer that suppose to be released 2009? http://pcgamersera.com/amd-bulldozer ?
