snmclassic
So just finished a new snow leopard install with my Asus Rampage Extreme II, i7 920, 16gb ram, ATi 5970. And everything is working! Used two threads to kind of guide me thru. I used ##### to install and boot up snow leopard the first time. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=183361 second to last post is what I used but I cut out acouple steps Didn't restart after update I installed all kexts and bootloader and then replaced boot file with one I will include. And then I used http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=230874 To input the device ID and disable second GPU (Can't use the 10.6.4 graphics update because 10.6.6 comes with updated graphics kexts so use the kexts in your S/L/E folder AFTER 10.6.6 update) Run kext utility reboot and BAM it worked for me .
