I have been successful with this OSx86 10.4.3 Patched DVD on an HP Pavilion Desktop, and I recently bought a Toshiba A105-S2051 Laptop and I am trying to get OSx86 to install. When I insert the DVD and try to boot from it, the OSX bootup screen just hangs. When booting in Verbose, I see that it is "Still waiting for root device". Please help me! msll Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 I have the same problem as you. my model is A105-S1013 with exactly the same ATI chipset and HD and ... The "still waiting for root device" can be solved by using 10.4.6 Jas DVD + pre-patched ppf1 (need to be patched before burn DVD). But the installation is really really slow. Co-ask for help here.
