i seleted the intel see3 patch i take it i dont need the amd patchs as i have the intel machine, and i take it that i don t need the see2 processor patch as my processor surrport see2 and 3

 

But when you posted the pictures of your configuration ( http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=156077 ), they said your Celeron only supported SSE2. I'm thinking you need to reinstall and select the SSE2 patch.

that was when i was going to install it on my dads pc then i decided i do on my pc as it run much quicker

my spec are : pc is a scaleo p fujistu seamens

 

 

CPU Type Intel Pentium 4, 3200 MHz (16 x 200) with HT x86, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, 478 Socket

 

Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-8I848PM

 

System Memory 1536 MB (DDR SDRAM)

the only thing im not doing it seting my partition af=id im useing a fat32 filing system as it says on http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11339

 

i must of try loads of diffrent ways to boot it and i must of format and reinstalled stuff bout 50 times now

the only thing i can tink of it that i gt a dodgy disc

But the first thing you do during the install is to go to the Utilities menu and select Disk Utility and then "erase" your partition using the MacOS Extended Journaled format.

yes im doing that... if i was to use the

drawing loader....

drawing loaded how would i go about pointing it to the partion ?? as i get the same type of thing when i load it through dere

 

i get no mac boot menu or select weather to boot into mac or windows

If it won't boot up, it is not the fault of the boot loader. The problem is past that point. And I've seen where you tried booting with cpus=1 and it still hangs. Once you get the thing to boot properly, you can sort out the boot loader.

 

That leaves some weird hardware configuration causing a problem or the things you chose in Customize are the wrong ones.

ok i know im selecting the rite things .... ill d/l a new disc en .....

 

im selecting the 10.4.6 update and the intel see3 patch all the rest of the patches are either amd patches or wireless network card and ati drivers

 

i got a gd knowedge on how to do it thanks to your help so if the new disc don t work i gt compatablity problems
