ayaw
Update about this machine: Retail DVD SL 10.6 + ##### Install success, but boot with vanilla kernel always restart the machine I figure it out, this is because the Arrandale CPU is too new and 10.6.0 kernel can't recognize it yet. Must use the ##### CD to get into Snow Leopard. Upgrade to 10.6.3 success, but vanilla kernel still crash. Using ##### kernel again. Upgrade to 10.6.4 success, using vanilla kernel with busratio=15 works perfectly! The new Arrandale CPU and NVidia Geforce make this machine run very smooth on Snow Leopard. But it's still far from usable point. The WiFi and Audio still doesn't works. WiFi: BCM4313 -> Doesn't work (Windows 7 doesn't recognize the WiFi too, we must manually install the driver. So, I think this WiFi will never work in Snow Leopard.) I tried to disassemble this thing to replace the WiFi, but I failed, this damn thing is too thin and too difficult to disassemble. I can't replace the WiFi card Audio: ALC269 -> Doesn't work (Work with VoodooHDA, but sound is poor) Hybrid VGA: Doesn't work (Intel doesn't work, we must select 'discrete VGA' in BIOS to use the GeForce)

To activate QE/CI, just add GraphicsEnabler=Yes in chameleon. It works instantly, no kext / hack needed. update: 1. I managed to get better audio by installing VoodooHDA from here. No more kernel panics and beep while the kext loaded. And the sound is better, but if we set to max volume, we still hear the crackle. I'm still searching on how to get the audio works with vanilla apple driver. 2. I found another issue with this laptop. The cpu is about 10 degree hotter than in windows 7. This might because the SpeedStep is not enabled automatically. 3. Finally I success opening this baby and found the WiFi card at the left of the fingerprint module. The WiFi card is half sized.
