MNCRXSi
I installed 10.4.6 on my laptop (Compaq 2010US) and it works great, wireless and sound are flawless. One question I have it it keeps telling me there are system updates, and I updated like iTunes, but I didn't want to update to 10.4.7 becuase I wasn't sure if it would of worked or if it would of messed up my install. For people who don't like to read posts Can I install the APPLE UPDATES from SYSTEM UPDATE or not? Thanks guys you are the best! MNCRXSi
That is what I thought, but I wanted to confirm that. Do I have to find these updates on Torrent sites or is there a place where the updates are being hosted? Dr. Hurt
Well, you can update normal programs like quicktime, itunes, ipod, java....etc. However never update the system (10.4.7 update) or any other security updates unless it is announced safe by the experts at this project. Somewhere on this forum you will find instructions on how to install security updates and system updates.
