I have followed the instructions in the mini guide post here

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=182655

The system will not boot on its own. I get the "Gateway" boot loader screen and as soon as it attempts to start the OSX on my hard drive I get an immediate reboot.

Here is my rig;

Mobo : Gigabyte G41M-ES2L rev 1.4 BIOS F9

Processor : Intel Pentium D 3.2 Dual Core.

Hard Disc : Segate ST3500320AS - SATA 500 GB

CD/DVD : Philips/BenQ DH-16A1L

Memory : hynix 1GB PC2-5300U-555-12 x 2

Video : Nvidia EVGA GeForce 210 512 DDR2

Brief Install steps:

1. Boot with Empire EFI Legacy 1063 (BootCD image locks)

2. Retail 10.6.0

3. Installed the MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.4 and MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.5

(would not boot after 10.6.5 update)

(also tried without the update and running on base 10.6.0)

4. Ridgeline's installer v2.3

bootloaders I have tried:

1. Ridgeline's installer

2. myHack_Installer_1.1.mpkg

3. 637-Chameleon_2.0_RC5_INSTALLER_r643

4. a few others... can't remember right not

In order to get on board NIC to work I had to load the production driver from RealTek, and DHCP

would not work, I had to add the IP manually.

Sound is works out of the box sometimes, other time I have to load 10.6.2-AppleHDAInstaller

Video is stuck at 1024x768, I have tried almost every KEXT I can find for NVidia

I have never gotten a Kernel panic.

No matter what I do, I can only get the system up if I boot the EFI Legacy CD and select the harddrive. Any attempt to boot directly from the harddrive results in an immediate reboot.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong!
