Hi all, so i have a Toshiba Satellite L355D-s7813 4 gb ram, sb600 chipset, ati x1250, atheros5007 wifi (pretty sure), amd turion x64 processors. I try to boot off of Leopard install dvds aka iAtkos, Leo4all v3, JAS, iPC universal, among others and all leopard distros hang at

IOAPIC: Version 0X20 vector 0:23

if i boot up with

"-v -x io=0x21"

i get to some acpi errors saying it couldnt load the correct acpi platform something kexts and it hangs.

Now, when i pop in any TIGER distro it loads and i get to the install screen...only it doesnt see my internal sata hdd (which according to windows device manager, is actually a non raid 5 sata but it shows up as IDE or ATA in actuality.

Basically, the culprit is, i believe, the AppleACPIPlatform.kext is the culprit, as it loads correctly on Tiger but not on Leo.

So, how do i take tiger AppleACPIPlatform.kext and put it into a Leo install iso that i can burn and use?

thanks in advance!

ps. i have googled for hours looking unsuccessfully which is why im posting here now
