I upgraded uTorrent and after a time I got kernel panic, and this is in my system log.

If this is interesting to someone working on the kernel, feel free to use this information, but what can have caused this error ? see my spec in my signarure

EDIT

I shall try to rename my kernel from legacy_kernel to mach_kernel.

//P

After renamed kernel I see this, what happens now is that my MAC frees.

This is not a big deal, i DL anyway from USENET :rolleyes:

It doesn't make sense that it should make a difference what name the kernel has?

All that did was get rid of the cache message, but that can be resolved just as easily by leaving the mach_kernel next to your renamed kernel at root, where it belongs.

This is the same in both snippets you posted:

"Dec 2 19:24:01 Peters-Mac-mini uTorrent[228]: networkReachabilityDidChange: NSConcreteNotification 0x13834f30 {name = BitTorrentNetworkReachabilityDidChangeNotification; object = 1}"

"Dec 2 19:29:32 Peters-Mac-mini ntpd[16]: version mismatch on routing socket Interrupted system call - disabling"

The other messages from mdworker, Spotlight and windowserver are unrelated to your issue.

In the last snippet, your freeze happens five minutes after that message. To me, that says that it's caused by something that's not showing in the logs.

Anyway, use Transmission instead of uTorrent:
