xzhang Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 Hi, I installed Chameleon RC5 on EFI partition (boot file is in that partition). I've tried: 1. Put all kexts in EFI partition: /Extra/Extensions. But I got panic (CPU 1 has no HPET assigned to it). 2. Put all kexts in my OSX partition: /Extra/Extensions. But I see a lot "Failed to load kext XXXXX... link failed" error in the booting and got panic too (cannot remember reason... sorry) So where should I put this kexts? looks like they did not get loaded correctly. Also where to put other stuff such as com.apple.boot.plist, smbios.plist, dsdt.aml, etc. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
