Zayph0d
Everything is working great on my new setup, but for some reason, I cannot see optical or hard drives on the second 2 SATA ports in Leopard. I know they work because the Windows side of my machine sees them - Its not a problem with the drives because when connected to SATA 0 or 1 they work just fine. The motherboard uses an Intel G33 Chipset. I noticed that there is an option to install Intel ICHx SATA drivers during initial installation of Leopard (did not select this option at the time of install), but is there any way to install these after the fact without reinstalling the OS? Thanks Dell Inspiron 530 running IPC OSX86 Leopard 10.5.
Gringo Vermelho
I'm going to guess: The reason why you can't see the other SATA ports is that they belong to a different drive controller, which needs a different driver. You need to find out what make and model it is so that you can find an appropriate driver for it.
