rafafre Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 Hi. In my installation, my Phenom II x2 Callisto CPU is running at only 800mhz. It's really slow. I had Leopard on that same machine, and it was really fast! CPU-X says my bus speed is only 25Mhz, and a Multiplier of 32.5, for a CPU frequency of only 800Mhz, when it should be 200Mhz FSB and x15 multiplier for a total of 3Ghz... Does anyone knows how to fix this? I already tried disabling and enabling AMD Cool&Quiet, and even setting up my CPU parameters manually in BIOS. Nothing changes. Thanks! How can I do it? Do I have to edit smbios.plist? If so, how? What should I change? Any clues?
