Tasca71
Hi, I have the PC described below in firm with ideneb 10.5.6. My graphic card is a GeForce 7300 LE. During the installation, I chose the kext NVdarvin 256 MB. All seems work properly. This is what I obtain from the system profile: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE: Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE Type: Monitor Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (total): 256 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x01d1 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: 1.2.5 NVdarwin Monitor: Display Connector: Status: No display connected P221W: Resolution: 1680 x 1050 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Hardware Accelerated Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Supported Rotation: Supported QuartzGL: Supported Everything seems OK but in PhotoshopCS4 in preference/performances in the GPU area my graphic card is not recognized and, more important, the openGL function can not be checked off, all is grey. In windows XP this function is enabled and can be checked. What do I have to do to get the openGL? Thanks in advance. Andrea.
Tasca71
I check the presence of the id of my GC in the ketx GeForce.kext, NVDANV30Hal.kext, NVDAResman.kext and in the injector NVDarwin.kext, my id is present. Then I try to add the efi string for my GC into the com.apple.Boot.plist deleting the injector clearly. The openGL funcion is still missing. Wainting your help, Ciao. 3.14r2
AFAIK Photoshop uses CUDA for that. No CUDA - no acceleration in Photoshop. The card you have DOESN'T have CUDA. there is the list of CUDA cards.

Tasca71
3.14r2 was right. I bought a Geforce 8400 GS and the openGL is OK now.
