I have Intel 910/915 graphics and have bridged pins 1,6 and 2,12 to get native resolution and it works fine. Unfortunately I clicked on mirror displays and now when it boots just a small blue windows appears surrounded in black and I can't see anything else. In safe mode it works fine. Is there a way I can uncheck the mirror displays so it works again? In safe mode it is unchecked but when I restart it is obviously checked again as that stupid blue is back

Don't worry I've fixed it. If an admin wants they can remove it. What I did was in safe mode went to system preferences arrangement. Then gathered the windows so I could change the resolution on my 'vga monitor'. I made it 1280x960 at 75Hz and when I restarted I could see again. Should have tried that first but I never thought of it

I have tried both of these solutions and neither of them seem to work. I did the accidental mirror display thing, and i'm really kicking myself for it now. When I boot up with the Dongle, it will only show a small blue box on the screen with a cursor. Sometimes I dont even get the blue box and its just a box with a cursor, and the colors are all messed up, some black and white scrambled stuff.

I Tried booting with an external monitor, and it works fine. I then Tried using a mirrored display with the external monitor on it, and thought that might solve it. but it didnt. I then tried removeing the plist file mentioned above, and that did not work either.

any other solutions for this?

I'm kicking myself right now because I used to have my gma900 working in mirrored mode, but I reinstalled my system and now I'm back to the blue box issue. I can't remember how I did it but at one I had it working perfectly... anyone know how I can get back to that point? Thanks a lot your help is appreciated! PS I'm using the listed pin bridge method of dongle fake. Thanks again!
