drpayne666
I installed 10.4.6 on my SSE2, everything ran smooth and fast except PPC apps would crash so i got the Maxxuss-SSE2-and-AntiTPM-Patches-v0.5c patch. I ran sudo ./install.sh and went through however on the last option the install hung and the entire OS froze. When i tried to boot back in it would load to "Starting Darwin x86" and then instantly restart. I tried using -v and -s options and it still silently restarted. My question is, first is there any way to fix this and get my os x back? (i tried loading from install disc and going to -s and mouting the hd and doing the uninstall but after /sbin/mount -uw it said "write protected") and secondly and much more importantly is there a way to install the patch successfully so i can use PPC apps or at least install it and not have it crash my os. Any help would be greatly appreciated, i am trying to eventually play baldurs gate II on it and anything to help that goal would be great, thanks! drpayne666
UPDATE: tried booting in install DVD and used the maxxuss patch's restore option to undo the changes, but this failed to work, system still not bootable.
