Bumfluff Posted October 27, 2010 Share Posted October 27, 2010 This Is My Method For Fixing The Black Screen Problem On The X3100 Chipset Right I First Found Out That If I Connected An External Monitor It Would Work So Then I Thought If I "Made" A Dummy Vga To Make The Laptop Think There Was Really A Monitor Connected So I Set About Bending All The Paper Clips And What Not ... Ex: So When Your All Done .. You Should Have It Lovely And Neat When Your At The Darwin Screen JUST EXAMPLE Type Your Commands -v ,Cpus=1 . Etc , Then Switch Your Screen To CRT (Fn F8 On My Inspiron 1520) And Hit Enter Should Boot And Give It A Second To Load Transparent Bars Too Not Sure If Its Full QE Etc But Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
